Are Wesbury cases compatible with all MacBooks?
Our cases are designed to fit specific MacBook models precisely. Please check the model number on the bottom of your device — it begins with “A” followed by four digits (e.g., A2681). You can find your size using our MacBook Size Guide before purchasing to ensure a perfect fit.
What are Wesbury cases made of?
Each case features a durable, hard shell base wrapped in premium vegan leather with a soft interior lining to protect your MacBook from scratches.
Do Wesbury cases protect my laptop?
Yes. Each case includes both a top and bottom cover for full coverage against scratches, scuffs, and everyday wear. The top cover protects your MacBook lid while keeping your essentials attached and accessible. The bottom cover protects the base and sits flush against any surface. Both covers snap firmly into place and stay secure through daily use.
Will items in the pockets put pressure on my MacBook's hinge or screen?
The pockets sit on the exterior of the top lid and are designed so nothing makes direct contact with your screen or hinge. The pockets are designed for lightweight essentials, and the case is built to accommodate everyday items without placing strain on your MacBook's structure. We recommend keeping pocket contents slim and light for the best experience.
Will the case affect my MacBook’s cooling or performance?
MacBook Pro and Air models from 2021 and later with Apple silicon ventilate through the hinge and sides, not the bottom — so Wesbury Case's don't interfere with thermals at all. If you're on an older Intel MacBook, we'd recommend checking your model's ventilation specs before ordering. That said, we recommend removing the case if your MacBook runs unusually hot, as individual device conditions vary. Wesbury Collection is not responsible for any performance issues arising from use of the case.
How do I install the case?
Start with the bottom cover.
1. Align the port openings with your MacBook's ports.
2. Snap the cover onto the base until the clips lock around the edges.
3. Position the top cover so the clips line up with the top edge of the screen.
4. Press along the edges until everything clicks into place.
It should feel firm and flush — no shifting, no gaps.
How do I remove the case?
Always start from a corner clip — never pull from the pocket area.
1. Push the micro-clips outward along the edges of the top cover to release it.
2. Flip your MacBook over.
3. Repeat the same motion on the bottom cover.
Both covers are designed to release cleanly without force.
How do I clean my Wesbury case?
Wipe it down with a soft damp cloth and mild soap when needed. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners, harsh chemicals, or anything abrasive — they'll break down the texture and finish of the vegan leather. Store it away from direct sunlight when you're not using it to keep it looking its best.
